I've said it before and now I'm saying it again. As much as I would like to, I simply cannot vote for the McCain/Palin ticket in November, because it would be a stupid, selfish and destructive thing to do.
But the folks on the video below want John McCain and Sarah Palin to win. And, more importantly, these folks deserve to have John McCain and Sarah Palin win. They deserve to live with the consequences of their love of violence, their intolerance, their bigotry and their misogyny. It's only natural that they identify with hatefulness born of ignorance and mental instability, as those qualities seem to be their own defining characteristics.
So, even though the rest of us would have to take our lumps along with them, I'm perversely hoping that they get exactly what they're asking for. And then we can see who they blame for what happens during the next four years.
